One and a half year ago, a 32 years old expat, Ali Hasanabba died in Qatar due to heart attack and his body had been sent to his native by QISF in co-operation with the other organisations in Qatar.
In December 2018, one of the relative of the deceased, informed Mr. Latheef Madakeri of QISF that, a month’s salary and also the gratuity amount of the deceased is not yet paid.
Immediately, Mr. Latheef and his team contacted the spouse of the deceased, gathered the required information and managed to get the necessary documents for claiming the dues.
QISF team contacted the Public Raltion Officer Mr. Haris Puttur of the related company and the management and succeed to get the dues of Indian Rupees 1,95,784/-.
The amount has been handed over to Mrs. Shaheeda, wife of the deceased on 19th December 2018 through QISF team member Aatiqh Shaheen.
Mrs. Shaheeda and family members thanked the QISF team for the effort and help rendered.
There was some minconception among the family members of the deceased that the dues were claimed by someone in Qatar.
Mr. Latheef Madakeri told the media that above misconception is totally wrong and there is no reality in it. The amount was safe with the employer as it was not claimed by anyone from the employee family and thanked Mr. Haris for his help to retrieve the dues. He also told that the people should not believe in such rumours.
