Varadigara (March,21): Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI)’s Mysore Narasimharaja Constituency MLA Candidate Abdul Majeed, who has been campaigning for the forthcoming assembly polls in the state, has been conducting a campaign “WALK TO WARD” for about a month. During a walk that he held in Ward No. 42, the aspiring candidate of the party Abdul Majeed said, “To be the people’s representative for their rights is my top priority”.
Majeed, criticized Narasimharaja constituency as one of the most backward constituencies in the state for over 7 decades, its residents are deprived of the fundamental rights and severely lacking even the basic amenities. He said, the elected representatives don’t listen to the people’s woes, rather they are seen deceiving and misleading the people during elections.
The Narasimharaja constituency which comprises of 3.5 lakh population, of that, more than 80 thousand citizenry are of labour category, but they are deprived of even the basic amenities. Majeed said, it’s my dream to ensure impartation of justified rights to the people of the constituency and to be the people’s voice for their rights.
On the occasion, SDPI State General Secretary Abdul Lateef, District President Azam Pasha, Secretary Koushan Baig, Alur Mallanna, S.Swant, Mahadev, Akram Sharif, Office Bearers & Committee Members of Ward No. 42 were present.
The people in the assembly are extending an overwhelming support to SDPI and its MLA candidate Abdul Majeed who is aiming to transform the Narasimharaja in to a model constituency.
